How pretty - looks like some form of campanula?
Not quite what I was expecting when I scrolled down from the post title but very pretty nonetheless! Just catching up with all blog posts everywhere (been a bit too overwhelmed with life to find the time to read on the internet), sounds like your holiday was just the tonic needed for a relaxing break.
It's amazing how plants grow in the most inhospitable places.

Anna, I have this growing just ouside the back door. Unsure, I assumed it to ba a campanula of some sort.
