Hardy fuchsias are such good shrubs as they flower for such a long time, right through to the first frosts.Paulinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16057764572761794703noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12357501.post-67585183394470579272014-05-12T13:53:57.766+01:002014-05-12T13:53:57.766+01:00I have some plants which flowered later than in pr...I have some plants which flowered later than in previous years. My dicentra is only just flowering but it has flowered in March before. My geraniums seem late this year with no signs of flowers yet. It's odd how despite the mild winter many plants don't seem to have flowered any earlier. I do love the colour of your fuchsia. Not normally a fan but there is something very delicate about your variety. wellywomanhttp://www.wellywoman.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12357501.post-5360362829773451662014-05-12T11:58:19.938+01:002014-05-12T11:58:19.938+01:00Hope it does flower for you again as it's so p...Hope it does flower for you again as it's so pretty. Quite a stylish shade of pink. My Mum has hardy fuschias that also flower until the first frosts. I wouldn't dare planting one here even though we see them in garden centres. I think the frosts would be too harsh. Having said that, we had such a mild winter, and some of my plants have been flowering extremely early too. Strangely enough, the roses are still running to their normal schedule though!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12357501.post-68529530853957328722014-05-11T19:58:28.418+01:002014-05-11T19:58:28.418+01:00I have seen similar fuchsias flowering on my Mum&#...I have seen similar fuchsias flowering on my Mum's island, pretty enough to be re-introduced to people's gardens and flowering for ages. There's no telling with the weather these days so just enjoy it while it's flowering!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12357501.post-38946056266052855882014-05-11T19:21:41.494+01:002014-05-11T19:21:41.494+01:00Hi Anna

Fuchsias are about the only thing I was successful with cuttings-wise until I got the propagator. I now seem to have added rosemary and anthemis, so I must try more. I'm sure your fuchsia will just carry on now, always assuming it isn't rudely wrested from its place ;-)Janet/Plantaliscioushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15605580157193047780noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12357501.post-43382659966762381652014-05-11T11:07:04.898+01:002014-05-11T11:07:04.898+01:00Fuchsias are such great plants, they flower and fl...Fuchsias are such great plants, they flower and flower so I'm sure it will hang on all year and give you plenty of blooms. I used to have lots of fuchsias in my garden but I don't have any at all now, I think I'll buy a couple of plants this year.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17436932004631816039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12357501.post-54052611666457934702014-05-11T10:20:44.002+01:002014-05-11T10:20:44.002+01:00It looks good Anna and I hope it gives you a secon...It looks good Anna and I hope it gives you a second flush of blooms!Mark and Gazhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09427245730390252976noreply@blogger.com
