In one place on the edge of the garden I piled up some earth I had excavated, and right now there are snowdrops poking through it in abundance, despite having to make their way through about 20 cm of additional earth. Oh if only!<br /><br />I'm loving your large clump, I am sure you will get your ribbon eventuall, not to worry and then we can all sit here - green with envy!<br /><br />The company I bought my snowdrops from is very reasonably priced, I think it was around £5 for a bag of 100, but they were not in the green...<br />Many of the 100 have come up, so I would say £5 well spent. I do assure you that in the space of a year or two, rather than a decade or two as one might imagine, they will start to clump up.
