Well, it being year one, everything was an experiment! I enjoy reading good gardening books, but there comes a point when I just have to put them down and try something. What I'm learning is that there often isn't a right or wrong way of doing things and you need to find a way that works best for you. Although it is frustrating to read one book which says one thing and then another which says something else. I haven't read Joy Larckom's book yet.
