  1. It looks to be thriving. I'm wondering what sort of roof it was on, a shed?

    1. Hi Jo, it was indeed on a shed at the Southport Flower Show last month but don't know if the shed remained intact at all times. Could have been dismantled and then erected for exhibition purposes. Whatever it was still a stunning display.

  6. Would that it were Elaine but the roof was part of an exhibit at the Southport Flower Show last month. Still maybe one day :)

  7. I have just realised I don't get your posts immediately, as this has only just arrived! That roof is amazing, too pretty to be a permanent fixture I think as surely it would be nigh on impossible to keep it looking that neat.

    1. Yes I agree with you Cathy - I think it would involve going up and down ladders too often to be practically feasible :)

  9. A beautiful example of a roof garden but I see the pic was taken at a flower show and can tell you that roof gardens are beautiful but need quite a bit of maintenance and won't look that fresh permanently. Having said that I'd always go for one given the optiom ;)

    1. I think that flower shows always highlight perfection Annette but that is perfectly excusable :)

    1. Thanks for your comment Tyler which I would have not removed if you had omitted the link to a company that I am not familiar with.

  12. Very interesting to know that this roof is a show roof. I've spoken to a few 'green roof' specialists at various shows as I love the idea of using every available space. Succulents are fairly low maintenance so I wonder what this roof would look like in, say, 6 months time? It makes for a real show stopper at the moment, v v beautiful!!

    1. Would be interesting to see it a year down the line Caro on a real life shed. I'd be quite happy to volunteer mine for research purposes!

  13. I love it. I keep meaning to put a small one on top of my bird table but haven't got round to doing it. Very inspiring.

  14. Oh that would look attractive WW - hope that you get round to it.
