Daffadowndillies
And cowslips and kingcups
And loved lillies"

  1. They're pretty daffodils, very delicate looking. I'm still waiting on my container grown daffodils flowering, but the ones in the ground are blooming away.

    1. Thanks for your comment Jo. Funnily enough I've grown the same bulbs in a container too which have still to flower.

  2. Love that daffodil variety - any idea what it is?

    1. Elaine they are narcissus 'Elka' which is a fairly recent introduction. It's the first time I've grown them and I'm already planning to plant more later this year. They are quite small and most pretty. Apparently the yellow trumpets fade to white which I'm looking forward to seeing :)

  5. That's a beautiful photo Anna. Love that lemony tinge. I will definitely keep my eyes open for that one here as I say every year I just don't have enough daffs!

  7. Beautiful daffs, so much nicer than the big, bright yellow ones!

  8. Very sweet little daffodils. And, as always, your poetry selections are swoon worthy. :)

  10. Like Pauline, I think these are nicer than the brighter yellow ones too.
