  5. Behind a gate in the wall as you enter the Dunham Massey National Trust property Rob. We had not seen the gate open on previous visits so it was a welcome surprise :)

  6. That's fun! It would be a great way to make an otherwise awkward tree stump a much-loved feature. Sadly all my stumps are of a size that you would need a magnifying glass to see any carving, and anyway I lack the talent.

  8. Oh, I think this is beautiful! I love the idea that someone has taken the time to carve this with lots of little creatures, absolutely wonderful! Children must love this!
