Beautiful picture. Lets hope the rain dries up soon so they can warm up and un-nestle!
ReplyDeleteThanks Su. It is warming up so maybe they might not need to cuddle up for much longer.
Deletelovely combination
ReplyDeleteThank you Helen :)
DeleteSuch pretty flowers, over the years mine have come and gone. This year, a wildflower mix of a few years ago has finally produced one flowering plant just opening now - must collect the seed this time :-D
ReplyDeleteYes they do funny things don't they Shirley producing all sorts of unexpected treats as well as the occassional eyesore but those are easy to extract :) Hope that you remember to save some seed.
DeleteSomething's gone wrong with my aquilegea this year. Apart from one fancy purple variety, only insipid pink ones have flowered. Such a disappointment because they are amongst my favourite flowers.
ReplyDeleteOh what a disappointment Esther. My favourite 'Nora Barlow' seems to have petered out this year and I most sad about that :( Aquilegias are amongst my favourite flowers too - so easy to grow and the slugs do not like them :)
DeleteNestled up and huddling together, I don't blame them in this weather.
ReplyDeleteI think that nestling up has been the best course of action over the last few days Jo.
DeleteWhat a lovely photo Anna.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cathy :)
DeleteLovely shot indeed - do you know the name?
ReplyDeleteNo sorry Annette - both the aquilegia and the geranium have arrived of their own accord - seedlings from other plants in the garden :) Can always send you seed though no guarantee that it will turn out the same as I've got other aquilegias close by.
DeleteGorgeous. I want a skirt just like that columbine. :)
ReplyDeleteMe too :)
DeleteSkirt or Grannies Bonnet, beautiful which ever it wants to be
ReplyDeleteOh thank you Flowerlady :)
DeleteThose colours!!! I was absolutely gobsmacked at the combination! I would have this as a screensaver if it was my photo.... it's absolutely stunning!
