Beautiful flower and photo,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words Sue :)
DeleteBetter than the Spice Girl ;)
ReplyDeleteToo true guys - infinitely superior!
DeleteSo pretty. You manage to capture every detail in your photos, beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAaaaaaaaw - thank you for such a lovely compliment Jo :)
DeleteBeautiful! I like the slightly crumpled look of the petals.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Cathy - the petals do have a slightly ruffled look which adds to the attraction.
DeleteIt is beautiful as is your image. What camera do you use? if you don't mind me asking.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Christina. I have used a Canon Powershot G11 for most of my snowdrops photos this year. Himself treated me to a DSLR for a significant birthday last year but I've still got to grips with it. It's one of my challenges for 2015!
DeleteBut was she named after the Spice Girl - do you know her heritage? She is not one I have come across ps I know my WW images were much smaller but they are still not a patch on your superb snowdrop photos :)
ReplyDeleteNo she was not named after Melanie Chisholm Cathy, but after Melanie Broughton, who is named after the youngest daughter of Lord Fairhaven of Anglesey Abbey in Cambridgeshire . Remember that I don't have to bend down or get on my knees to take my snowdrop photos which makes it much easier :)
Deletezig a zig ah!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant Angie :)
DeleteOh so nice to see these lovelies....hope to see mine in about a month maybe if the snow will melt.
ReplyDeleteOh I do hope that you enjoy them and share them when they arrive Donna.
DeleteI don' t know Mel B, what a beauty! Great photo too.
