I wil try to reply to everyone who leaves a comment, but it may take me a few days, especially when I start spending more time in the garden and at the lottie. I know that you will understand :) I am sure that I will also visit your blog if I have not already done so. A beautiful photo and a beautiful flower.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue. As always I'm critical of the photo as snowdrops can be very hard to photograph.
DeleteShe is indeed a beauty. Anna, where do you keep your snowdrops? Cathy suggested that it might be in pots which is the way I think I will have to go with the specials. They have been decimated by slugs in the garden this year :(
ReplyDeleteThanks Jessica. Yes I do grow most of my specials in pots - under cover in the winter and outside in the summer. However I have a number planted in the garden too and am keen to get more out there. Slugs can still be an issue even when they are in pots :(
DeleteShe is special with different markings on the inside and on the outside of the petals.
ReplyDeleteShe is a rather special lady indeed Brian :)
DeleteWith such clear photographs I am finding that I can clearly observe the differences. Amy Doncaster is quite a beauty with the three little stripes on the outer three petals. I shall try to spot this one at the Wells Fair on Sunday when Alison C and Sandra D are joining me!
ReplyDeleteOh I hope that you've had a most enjoyable day Noelle and that it was warmer than it was here :)
DeleteShe is indeed a pretty thing, Anna - is she a fairly new one for you?
ReplyDeleteShe's most pretty indeed Cathy and yes she is a recent addition to my snowdrops. I bought her as a dormant bulb last July so this is the first time that I've seen her in the flesh. I'm delighted with her.
