  1. That is a superb combination Anna. I have both these plants, with some little seedlings coming up this year of the white Dicentra, this has inspired me. Happy Easter.

  2. It is indeed a glorious combination, perfectly planned I am sure! The green of the dicentra is astonishingly vivid, isn't it?

    1. Not planned Cathy but a most happy accident πŸ˜‚ I think that the dark tones of the arum accentuate the dicentra foliage.

  3. A beautiful and fresh combination, shouting spring, here I am :D Arum are such amazing plants - have you ever noticed how they're sprawled out in deep frost, surrender-like, next thing when it gets milder they stand up again as if nothin ever happened, a bit like hellebores. It's incredibly warm here, like summer, to answer your question, I'm swimming already, it's crazy. Wishing you and your loved ones a happy Easter and fingers crossed for self-seeding Cerinthe in your garden xx

    1. Yes arums are definitely tough customers Annette. They really come through the worse the winter as do the hellebores. I hope that the more fragile dicentra copes with today's chilly wind and tonight's predicted frost. Glad to hear that it's warm enough with you for you to be able to take a dip. I hope that you are enjoying a good and sun blessed Easter time and I'm sure those cerinthe seedlings will pop here in the future once I have grown some some cerinthes πŸ˜„

  6. I love the contrasting foliage. These lovely arums struggle in my garden and seed so much in my daughter's garden that they become a nuisance. They are wonderful for flower arrangements.
