    I got the bulbs in the Crocus half price sale Wild Somerset Child but they were also in the Avon Bulbs catalogue. Have also seen them on sale at our local garden centre in the past. They have now been out in flower for nearly three weeks so I am most pleased with them.

  13. I recognised these tulips immediately, because I have some too! Mine are a little more orange than yours, but most definitely 'Princess Irene'. I planted them in memory of my own princess, Renie, my lovely therapy dog who was lost to us just over a year ago. I also have a day lily called 'Renie's Delight'. It hasn't bloomed yet because I got it as a single fan, very young plant. I look forward to it!
