A Red Letter Day

E IS FOR?

A SPECIAL EVENT!
Our family celebrated a most special event last Friday on the exciting occasion of my parent's diamond wedding anniversary. The day was more precious as my father was very poorly earlier in the year. There was cake, flowers, kisses and much laugher too ~

Enjoy more on the letter E over at ABC Wednesday where participants expand on a different letter of the alphabet each week.

  2. Way cool. I was having a blood test yesterday and saw a couple married nearly 64 years. I find this amazing.
    Congrats to the folks.

  3. Dear Anna, With many marriages these days lasting 60 minutes [or so the media would have us believe], your parents' 60 years of marriage is wonderful news. Just what I wonder is the secret of their success?

  4. A wonderful event to celebrate, and I hope your father's health improves and you will be able to celebrate many more precious anniversaries. Charles and I are looking forward to our 66th next May.

  10. Yes my in laws had theirs about 5 years ago, which as the added poignant that this was the last time they had reasonable health - he has now had a stroke and she is severely senile. In fact about to leave to give them a last holiday in their seaside flat before they move into a care home. Hi, I'm new in town. My E is in a 50 word story called The Prince of Darkness is a gentleman
