A Muse For March

"Daffodils,
That come before the swallow dares, and take
The winds of March with beauty."

 - Shakespeare, 'The Winters Tale.'

The illustration is one of Cicely Mary Barker's exquisite flower fairies.

  3. Well March has certainly come in like a lamb lets hope that doesn't mean a spell of bad weather at the end of the month. I love the poeticus narcissi in the illustration. You've reminded me to go and search for my flower fairy book.
